The Henry Lawson Way is a connecting road to the east of the Australian state of New South Wales. It connects the Olympic Highway in Young with the Newell Highway and the Lachlan Valley Way in Forbes.

Origin of the name

The street was named after the Australian writer Henry Lawson ( 1867-1922 ).

Course

The Henry Lawson Way branches in Young to north-northwest from the Olympic Highway ( R41). In Grenfell he reached the Mid- Western Highway (R24 ) and runs together with it about 10 km to the north- west to Bogolong Creek.

There the road turns again towards the north-northwest and reaches about 10 km southeast of the Forbes Lachlan River and the Lachlan Valley Way. Together with this pulls the Henry Lawson Way, the last kilometers to the west-north -west, and finally ends in Forbes on the Newell Highway ( N39 ).
