Hermann Neiße

Hermann Neisse ( born December 5, 1889 in Schleswig, † October 20, 1932 in Vienna ) was a German football player and three-time national player.

Life

The athletic defender, who preferred the physical play, took for Eimsbütteler TV. He was generally regarded as aerially strong football player.

On October 16, 1910 Neisse was used as the first Eimsbütteler players in the German national team, the Germans lost in Kleve with 1:2 against the Netherlands. In April 1911 Neisse played twice in the national jersey: He was coming to Berlin in a 2-2 draw against the English Amateur and Liege in the 1-2 defeat against Belgium at right-back. In the summer of 1911 Neisse won the Crown Prince Cup with the North German selection.

With Eimsbuettel Neisse played in the top of Hamburg clubs with. The end of 1911 he moved to Vienna, where he played a few more years in Vienna. Neisse died at the age of 42 from the effects of an operation for appendicitis.
