Heřmanov (Žďár nad Sázavou District)

Heřmanov ( German Hermann beat) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located 13 kilometers east of Velké Meziříčí and belongs to Okres Zdar nad Sázavou.

Geography

Heřmanov located in the belonging to the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands Highlands Křižanovská ( Krischanauer Bergland ) on a ridge. At the northeastern edge of the pond is Panský fishpond. To the north rises the Křiblík ( 582 m ) in the east of Strážnice ( 583 m ) south of the Maly Kamenný vrch ( 592 m) and in the southwest the Svatá hora ( 679 m).

Neighboring towns are Dolni Libochová in the north, Nová Ves and Radňoves in the northeast, Vidonín in the east, in the southeast Milešín, Ondrušky and Skřinářov in the south, and Rohy Ořechov in the southwest, and Kadolec Křižanov in the west and Bojanovský and Kundratice in the northwest.

History

Herman blow was founded in the 13th century during the colonization of the forests of the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands by the German Order of Knights and German colonists. Was first mentioned the term to a wide village green village in 1349 along with Březské and Březí as part of Henry of Ossowa associated rule Ossowa. Since 1428 the existence of a parish church is occupied. 1437 the village belonged to the reign Náměšt nad Oslavou and was attributed by the brothers Wenzel and George of Krawarn in Landtafel the Matthias Schwan mountain. Hermann shock since formed an enclave of the rule Namiescht which was within the Jihlava circle, placed it in the Znojmo district. After the abolition of the patrimonial community Hermann shock / Hermašlak was the District Commission United Meseritsch associated with the districts Milešín, Vidonín and Neudorf 1849 in Jihlava District. The Catholic parish includes the villages of Heřmanov Bojanovský, Meziboří, Milešín, Nová Ves, Radňoves, Strážek and Vidonín.
