Hidamari Sketch

Hidamari Sketch (Japaneseひだまり スケッチ, Hidamari Suketchi ) is a Yonkoma manga series by Ume Aoki, which is about the everyday lives of a group of students. The manga was published in April 2004, in his magazine Manga Time Kirara Carat for the first time. Yen Press licensed the manga for an English-language edition entitled Sunshine Sketch, and published on May 27, 2008, the first edition.

A produced by Shaft anime adaptation with twelve episodes, aired in Japan between January and March 2007. Two additional bonus episodes were broadcast on 18 October of the same year. A second season, Hidamari Sketch × 365, with 13 episodes was sent between July and September. An original video animation episode of Hidamari Sketch × 365 was issued in March 2009. Two bonus episodes of the second season aired in October 2009. Between January and March 2010, the third season ( Hidamari Sketch × Hoshimittsu ) was broadcast in October 2010, two bonus episodes of this season. Two more episodes, Hidamari Sketch × SP, aired in October and November 2011. Hidamari Sketch × Honeycomb, the fourth season was aired from October to December, 2012. Two series based on the light novels written by chabo Higurashi, and illustrated by Ume Aoki, published in 2007.

Action

In the center of the story is the student Yuno, who has managed to be included in the Yamabuki High School, specializing in art. In order to attend school, she moves to and lives in a small apartment building, Hidamari - sō (ひだまり 荘, "House Sunny spot" ) is called and is located opposite the school. The Yonkoma manga is written and drawn by Ume Aoki, and was published in issue 4/ 2004 of 28 February 2004 at his magazine Manga Time Kirara Carat, which is published by Verlag Hōbunsha for the first time. As of August 27, 2011 Hōbunsha released so far (as of February 2013) seven anthologies ( tankōbon ). The second band, there were in addition to the regular edition and a limited edition that includes a calendar. Yen Press licensed the manga for English-language edition under the title Sunshine Sketch.

Anime

Hidamari Sketch

Studio Shaft produced a first 12 - episode anime series. Was directed by Akiyuki Shimbo as director general (総 监督, sōkantoku ) and Ryōki Kamitsubo as chief director. For the character design and the artistic director Yoshiaki Ito was responsible.

The series was (and thus on the previous TV day ) aired in Japan from 12 January to 30 March 2007 after midnight. Two additional episodes were broadcast on October 18, 2007. The first twelve episodes were, on six DVD volumes containing two episodes, released 28 March to 22 August 2007. Another DVD with two bonus episodes was released on 24 October 2007.

The episodes of the anime were aired in a achronologischen order, recaps may relate to events that occur in a later episode. The first season of Hidamari Sketch has been licensed for distribution in North America by Sentai Filmworks; the first season on DVD with English subtitles was issued on 12 January 2010.

Hidamari Sketch × 365

A second season, Hidamari Sketch × 365 aired in Japan from July 4 to September 26, 2008 after midnight. Was directed by Akiyuki Shimbo, now on referred to as a director ( kantoku ) and Tatsuya Oishi as production director.

The season consists of 13 episodes - a fourteenth appeared only on DVD. Two bonus episodes of the second season appeared on 17 and 24 October of the same year. The second season was released on April 6, 2010 by Sentai Filmworks DVD.

Hidamari Sketch × Hoshimittsu

The third season, Hidamari Sketch × Hoshimittsu (ひだまり スケッチ× ☆ ☆ ​​☆ ), with twelve episodes followed in 2010. Was directed by Akiyuki Shimbo ( kantoku ) and Ken'ichi Ishikura as series director.

It was aired in Japan from January 8 to March 26, after midnight; two bonus episodes followed in October 2010.

This season also has been compared by Sentai Filmworks DVD, she appeared on 19 July 2011.

Two bonus episodes, Hidamari Sketch × SP (ひだまり スケッチ× SP, Hidamari Suketchi Supesharu ) were broadcast each on 29 October and 5 November 2011 on November 23, 2011, they were published by Sentai Filmworks on Blu -ray Disc and DVD.

Hidamari Sketch × Honeycomb

The fourth season, titled Hidamari Sketch × Honeycomb (ひだまり スケッチ×ハニカム, Hidamari Suketchi × Hanikamu ), directed by Akiyuki Shimbo as kantoku and Yūki Yase as series director was broadcast 5 October to 21 December 2012 after midnight on TBS.

Also it has been licensed by Sentai Filmworks.

Music

In the first season, and the associated bounus episodes, there are two different theme songs, one for the header, and one for the trailer. The song used in the opening credits is Sketch Switch (スケッチ スイッチ, Suketchi Suitchi ) Asumi Kana, Kaori Mizuhashi, Ryoko Shintani, and Yuko Gotō, the single contains this song, appeared on January 24, 2007. The ending theme is Mebae Drive (芽生え ドライブ, Mebae Doraibu ) Marble; the single with the ending theme was released on 21 February 2007. A Character Song Mini - album titled Hida Chara was issued on 5 September 2007, the songs were sung by the seiyū of the anime.

The biasing song of the second season is Hatena de Wasshoi ( ?で わっ しょい) Asumi Kana, Kaori Mizuhashi, Ryoko Shintani, and Yuko Gotō, the ending song is Ryusei Record (流星 レコード, Ryusei Rekōdo ) Marble. The single with the song leader was with the ending song on 6 August 2008 published on 23 July 2008. The soundtrack of the second season was released on 8 October 2008. Four character song singles for the four main characters were published on 10 September 2008. A Character Song Collection of Marble entitled Hidamarble was published on 26 September 2008. Two more Character Songs Yoshinoya ( sung by Miyu Matsuki ) and the Director ( sung by Yuichi Nagashima ) were published on 5 November 2009. All albums were released by Lantis.

The biasing song of the third season ( Hidamari Sketch × Hoshimittsu ) is Dekiru Kanatte Hoshimittsu (できるかな って ☆ ☆ ☆ ) Asumi Kana, Kaori Mizuhashi, Ryoko Shintani, and Yuko Gotō; the ending song is Sakura Sakura Saku Ano Hi Kimi o Matsu Sora to Onaji de (さくら さくら 咲く~あの 日 君 を 待つ 空 と 同じ で~ ) of Marble. The biasing song for the two episodes of Hidamari Sketch x SP is Kimagure Jan Ken Pon! (気まぐれ,じゃんけん ポンっ! ), Again by Kana Asumi, Kaori Mizuhashi, Ryoko Shintani, and Yuko Gotō; the song for the closing credits is Nora Marble. The biasing song of the fourth season ( Hidamari Sketch × Honeycomb) is OpenCanvas (おーぷん ☆ きゃんばす, Ōpun Kyanbasu ) Asumi Kana, Kaori Mizuhashi, Ryoko Shintani, Yuko Gotō, Chiaki Omigawa and Hitomi Harada; the ending song is Yume Gumo (夢ぐ も) Marble.

Light Novels

Hōbunsha published two Light Novels written by chabo Higurashi, and illustrated by Ume Aoki. The first light novel, entitled Hidamari Sketch Novel: Yokoso Hidamari - sō e (ひだまり スケッチ ノベル ようこそ ひだまり 荘 へ), was released on 31 March 2007; the second, titled Hidamari Sketch Novel: Hidamari School Life (ひだまり スケッチ ノベル ひだまりSchool Life), was followed by 30 September of the same year.

Video game

A video game titled Hidamari Sketch × 365 Dokodemo Sugoroku (ひだまり スケッチ どこ でも すごろく× 365 ) for the Nintendo DS was released on February 12, 2009. The game plays mostly like a Sugoroku board game, with related game boards, each representing a month in Yunos first school year. Depending on which field lands a character, the player can with her one of several mini-games or long games based on the episodes of the anime play. These points will be awarded, with which the winning character is determined. The points can also be used to unlock specific items.
