HK Stari Grad

The HK Stari Grad is an ice hockey club from Sarajevo- Stari Grad, a municipality of the city of Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The club was founded in 2002 and participates with the men's team Vukovi (Eng. " wolves " ) at the Bosnian - Herzegovinian Hockey League. Like all other teams in Bosnia and Herzegovina reflects the club 's games in the Olympic Hall Zetra in Sarajevo.

History

The club was founded in 2002 and participated in the 2009/10 season for the first time at the Bosnian - Herzegovinian Hockey league. In the regular season, the club finished in 2nd place. In the playoff finals sat down 2-1 against HK Bosna through and was thus immediately Bosnian - Herzegovinian champion. In the 2012/13 season the club finished in 1st place in the group stage. The playoff final was won by the HK Stari Grad 2-0 against HK Alfa Novo Sarajevo, and was thus for the second time champion of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
