The HMS Seneschal ( P255 ) was a submarine of the British Royal Navy.

History

The Seneschal (see Seneschal ) was a boat of the fourth contract section of the British S- class. This is also referred to as a contract section Subtle class. It was launched at Scott 's Shipbuilding & Engineering Co. in the West of Scotland Greenock on 1st September 1943 expired on April 23, 1945 from the pile and was put into service by the Royal Navy on 6 September 1945.

The Seneschal was damaged in an explosion on June 4, 1947. On June 14, 1952 was another accident when the British submarine collided south of the Isle of Wight with the Danish frigate Thetis. In the collision the periscope and radar mast were damaged.

The HMS Seneschal was scrapped in August 1960 in Dunston.
