Hoeselt ( Limburg: Hoeiselt ) is a Belgian municipality in the east of Flanders with about 9588 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2012). It consists of the main village and the hamlets Romershoven, Schalk Hoven, Sint- Huibrechts - Hern and Werm.

Tongeren is located seven kilometers south, Maastricht twelve km east, 14 km north-west of Hasselt, Liège and Brussels 24 km south about 75 miles to the west.

The nearest motorway exit is located on the outskirts at Hoeselt / Blizen at the A13 / E 313

Regional stations there are in Blizen, Diepenbeek and Tongeren.
