Houthalen-Helchteren

Houthalen- Helchteren ( Limburg: hotele - Helichtre ) is a Belgian municipality located in the Flemish region with 30 356 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2012). It consists of the two districts and Helchteren Houthalen.

The nearest motorway exit Houthalen- Zonhoven lies immediately south of the church. In Heusden -Zolder, Genk and Hasselt are the next regional stations. Maastricht Aachen Airport is the nearest regional airport and the Brussels National Airport near the capital Brussels is an international airport.
