The hollow brick ( 1,196 m) is located in the Bavarian Forest National Park southeast of the Lusen high above the Reschbachtal and is used by the locals " Großalmeyerschloß " or " Schlössl " called.

On the striking rock summit stands since October 2004 a summit cross, the view is vast, encompassing over Finsterau Almberg, Haidel and Freyung to Rachel and Lusen. Several marked routes of Finsterau, Mauth and Sägwassersäge on the playground, a former cattle pasture (also called shafts ) in about 2 hours to the summit, also runs underneath the hollow stone of long-distance trail from E6 Lusen to Mauth.
