The CBR 125 R with the factory code JC34 replaced the two-stroke Honda NSR 125 R from the Honda model range. The cheap price (2008: about 3100 €; List Price 2011: € 3,390 ) and the possibility that CBR 125 the age of 16 to use the A1 license on European roads, make the bike very popular especially among young people.

An anti -lock braking system is not available for this motorcycle.
