Horst Ehrmantraut

Horst Ehrmantraut ( born December 11, 1955 in Einoed ) is a German football coach and former football player. As a player, he came up with 81 appearances in the first Bundesliga (one goal ) and 172 inserts ( 18 goals) in the 2nd Bundesliga. For the FC 08 Homburg, he played a total of 201 games in which he scored 16 goals. As a coach, he led Eintracht Frankfurt and 1.FC Saarbrücken ascents in the next higher league.

Career as a player

Ehrmantraut started playing football for SpVgg. Einoed - Inweiler. In the summer of 1975, the 19 -year-old defender joined the second division FC Homburg -Saar, after he had two years earlier offers to leave his home club knocked out.
