Hotevilla - Bacavi ( Hopi: Hotvela - Paaqavi, also referred to as Third Mesa ) is a census -designated place in Navajo County in the U.S. state of Arizona. Hotevilla - Bacavi has 767 inhabitants on an area of 30.8 square km. It is located in the Hopi Reservation within the Navajo Nation.

The first settlement was made by the enemy of Hotevilla blessed, a group of Hopibewohnern that were sold in 1906 from the nearby Oraibi. Background were ideological disputes about the cultural influence of white settlers, soldiers and missionaries, which was opposed by the enemy blessed. A later attempt at reintegration led to a further cleavage and establishing of Bacavi. This joined in its course with Hotevilla to today's settlement together.

Education

Hotevilla - Bacavi located in Cedar Unified School District. The White Cone High School in First Mesa also supplies this village.
