Hubert Ingraham

The Right Honourable Hubert Alexander Ingraham (* August 4, 1947 in Pine Ridge on Grand Bahama ) from 1992 to 2002 and again in 2007-2012 Prime Minister of the Bahamas. He is a member of the Free National Movement ( FNM).

Due to the electoral success of the Progressive Liberal Party in the parliamentary elections of 2002 Ingraham lost his position as Prime Minister. He was also a member of the House of Assembly for the constituency of North Abaco.

In the elections of 2 May 2007, the FNM was the winner. On 4 May 2007 Ingraham was again Prime Minister of the Bahamas. In the elections of 7 May 2012, the PLP won an absolute majority, Ingram resigned and his predecessor Perry Christie was prime minister again.

He is with Delores Miller, headmistress of a public high school, married and has five children with her.
