Remainder of a monument to Kaiser Wilhelm I on the summit of Hübichensteins: Eagle Bronze figure

The Hubichenstein near Bad Grund in the Lower Saxony district of Osterode am Harz is a limestone rock with twin peaks in the western part of the resin. Geographical location

The Iberg lies within the Upper Harz in the west of the Harz Nature Park. Geology

The crags of Hübichensteines are remnants of coral reefs. They consist largely of Riffkarbonatgesteinen of the upper Middle Devonian Givetian.

Kaiser Wilhelm I. Monument

In 1895, a committee set up under the chairmanship of Mayor Spatzier in Bad Grund to the 25-year anniversary of the day the fabled Sedan Hubichenstein a monument to Kaiser Wilhelm I ( 1797-1888 ) to build.
