Hugo Boss Prize
The Hugo Boss Prize is an annual basis since 1996 in two a / n other / n artist / in (or group of artists) awarded whose work makes a significant contribution to developments in contemporary visual arts. The prize is awarded by the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation and sponsored by Hugo Boss. He is worth 100,000 U.S. dollars.
A jury of curators, critics, and scholars in the arts is responsible for the selection of artists. You nominate six or seven, from which the winner will be determined a few months later. 1996 and 1998 have exhibited their work in the now defunct Guggenheim Soho the nominated candidates. Since 2000, only the winners presented their work.
