Hungary women's national football team
The Hungarian women 's national soccer team represents Hungary in international women's football. The national team is subordinated to the Hungarian Football Federation and is trained by Attila Vágó. To date, the Hungarian selection could not qualify for a major tournament itself. The greatest success was reaching the quarter- finals at the European Football Championship Women 1991.
In qualifying for the 2011 World Cup, the team met in an Eastern European Group on Ukraine, Poland, Romania and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Although the Hungarians just lost the game in the Ukraine, the final score was only to rank 3 in the very balanced group.
The highest FIFA ranking was used 26 at the start of the rankings with space and held from July 2003 to March 2004. After Hungary fell to 39 back, which was occupied from June 2008 to June 2009 and then rose again in the meantime until Rank 30 in March 2011.
