IAME Justicialista

Justicialista is a former Argentine vehicle brand.

History

It was founded in 1951 under the government of Juan Perón. The brand name was the official name of the Peronist Party. The Justicialista brand was part of the state enterprise Industrias y Aeronáuticas Mecánicas del Estado ( IAME ) in Córdoba ( Argentina). The goal was an independent Argentine ( automotive ) industry. With the fall of Perón in 1955 IAME was restructured and resolved the Justicialista brand. Production was resumed in 1956 with modifications under the name Graciela.

Rolling stock

Sedan

The serial production began in 1952. The Sedan was a 4295 mm long and 850 kg heavier two-door model with box -frame chassis. The design was created in Argentina and was based on the 1951er Chevrolet. From 1952 to 1954, a 690 cc two-cylinder two -stroke engine with 17 kW (23 PS) at 4500 rpm came after DKW model used. In 1953, a four-cylinder, two-stroke twin piston engine was to Puch - model with 800 cm ³ and initially 23.5 kW ( 32 hp) at 4200 rpm and 26.5 kW later (36 hp) at 4500 rpm available. The drive was carried out by a three-speed gearbox to the front wheels.

Pickup, FURGON and Rural

On the basis of a Limousine Pick Up ( Camioneta ) was prepared with a cargo of wood and in 1953 an enclosed transporter ( FURGON ) from 1952. A combi ( " Rural" ) was created as a prototype.

Gran Sport

From 1953 to 1955, the Coupé GranSport with the 800 cc 4 -cylinder 2-stroke twin piston engine and a 1.5 liter boxer engine from Porsche with 50 kW ( 55 hp ) was produced at 4400 rpm. It was one of the first cars with a plastic body (polyester resin). The dimensions are similar to the Sedan. There was a prototype V8 - Engine.

Others

In addition to cars and small trucks Rastrojero and airplanes and motorcycles were produced.
