Ibrahima Traoré

Ibrahima " Ibo " Traoré (born 21 April 1988, in Villepinte, France) is a Guinean football player. His parents are from Guinea, where his mother grew up in Lebanon. He also holds French citizenship.

Career

In the club

Youth in France

The left midfielder who can also be used in central midfield, started at CAP Charenton in Charenton- le -Pont to play soccer. Later he moved to Levallois SC to Levallois- Perret. Here Traoré came a few times in the first team to use that in the Championnat de France amateur 2, the fifth- highest division of France plays.

Hertha BSC

During the winter break of the season 2006/ 07 Traoré moved to Berlin at Hertha BSC, where he played in the regional league team. He scored two goals in 15 games here, but could not prevent the descent of the team. Since the 2007/ 08 season Traoré belonged to the Bundesliga Hertha squad. His debut match in the Bundesliga he played on 9 December 2007 against 1 FC Nuremberg, when he came for Gilberto 73 minutes into the match.

FC Augsburg

In summer 2009, Traoré joined 50,000 € for FC Augsburg. With Jos Luhukay he played at FC Augsburg an extremely strong first round 2009/10, as he showed convincing performances on the left wing and scored four goals in 14 games.

In Relegation play-off for promotion to the first division Traoré was sent off after a Würgeattacke against the fallen Juri Judt and Augsburg missing out on promotion.

VfB Stuttgart

For the 2011/12 season, VfB Stuttgart Traoré undertook a free transfer. He signed a three-year contract until 30 June 2014.

National

In August 2010, Ibrahima Traoré was first nominated for the national team of Guinea. In his debut, he scored in Marignane on 11 August 2010 for Guinea to Mali the goal for a 2-0 final score. On October 8, 2011 Traoré in the twelfth minute of stoppage time scored in the final group match of Group B African Cup of Nations qualifier against Nigeria in 2012 the gate to a 2-2 draw, and thus secured the qualification of Guinea for the tournament in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea. There he played in all preliminary games in Group D, scoring the 4-1 in a 6-1 win over Botswana on 28 January 2012.
