Idomoid languages
The idomoiden languages (or the Idomoid ) form a subunit of the West Benue - Congo, Benue - Congo, a branch of languages , which in turn belong to the family of languages of the Niger - Congo languages .
The ten idomoiden languages - except Ekpari and Akpa - closely related to the Idoma; they are spoken by about one million people in Southern Nigeria.
