The present appearance of the building built of boulders in the Romanesque style in the 13th century building is mainly determined by the magnification of the window in 1785. The wooden ceiling of the chancel and the nave are decorated with tendrils and family coat of arms, and impairing the church looks like it is typical in many churches in Hadeln. This painting was restored by the church painter Ebeling for patterns of the 17th century in the years 1904/ 05. Images from the life Willehads and the New Testament shows the Gothic winged altar from the 15th century. The pulpit, a foundation of 17 community members from 1671, was made by the very well known in Hadeln Otterndorf sculptor Jürgen Heydt man. The baptismal font made of sandstone comes with a brass bowl, dating from 1717.
