Iker Romero Fernández ( born June 15, 1980 in Vitoria-Gasteiz/Spanien ) is a Spanish handball player. He is 1.96 m tall and weighs 100 kg.

Romero, who plays for the German club foxes Berlin and for the Spanish national team, is used in the backcourt diverse. He usually plays in the backcourt Center.

1997 wrote Iker Romero during his first professional team BM Valladolid. In 2000 he moved for a season to Ademar León, with whom in 2001 he won the Spanish championship. In the same year he joined BM Ciudad Real. Here he won the 2003 Copa del Rey de Balonmano as well as 2002 and 2003, the European Cup Winners' Cup. In 2003 he signed for FC Barcelona.
