Ilansky (town)
Ilanski (Russian Иланский ) is a town with 16,111 inhabitants (as of October 14, 2010 ) on the Trans-Siberian Railway in the Krasnoyarsk region of Russia. It is located on the river in Siberia Ilanka, a right tributary of the Kan. The distance to Moscow is about 4380 km.
History
The place was known since 1645 as a village called Ilanskaja ( Иланская ). In the 1730s, a road was laid close to Ilanskaja past, which resulted in the following decades to an increase in population in the neighboring towns. Mostly it was with the settlers to exiles from the European parts of Russia; they represented the end of the 18th century a large part of the population of the village dar.
1894, the Trans-Siberian Railway was moved to Ilanskaja over. Here in place a train station and a railway depot emerged. In 1939, Ilanskaja, now a major railway settlement, under its present name in the status of a city.

Economy and Transport
Today there are in the city, among other railway workshops, woodworking and textile industries. Ilanski is connected to both the Trans-Siberian Railway and to the highway M 53.
