In the Woods ... was a heavy metal band from Norway, which was founded in 1992 in Kristiansand and disbanded in 2000.

History

In the Woods ... was founded in the fall of 1992 by members of the band Green Carnation, after whose head moved Tchort to Emperor and was therefore put on hold. In 1993, the band released rehearsal and demo recordings; by The Isle of Men they sold over 3,000 copies, which earned her a recording contract with Misanthropy Records. 1995 there appeared her debut Heart of the Ages. In 1996 the band released the single White Rabbit and went with Katatonia on tour in 1997, she released her second album omnio. 1999 their third album Strange in Stereo.

2000 the band released their resolution known and announced a farewell concert, which took place on 29 December 2000 in Caledonia Hall in Kristiansand. There, all the publications from 1995 was played the entire album omnio next pieces. He and many of the other members have continued after the release of In the Woods ... Green Carnation.

Style of music and texts

Omnio was " oriented generally less metallic, elegiac, melancholic, almost sylphenhaft ".
