Indie Recordings
Indie Recordings is a Norwegian record label based in Oslo. The company specializes in the genres of metal and hard rock.
History
Indie Recordings was founded in 2006 by the brothers aspen and Erik Solheim Røhne who had founded three years earlier the company Tabu Recordings. Once at Tabu Recordings some employees had to be laid off, Indie Recordings was founded. In the years 2008 and 2010 the band Enslaved for albums Vertebrae Axioma Ethica or Odini was awarded the Spellemannprisen in the category of Metal. In 2011, Kvelertak were awarded the Spellemannprisen in the categories of Best Newcomer and Best Rock Band.
