Inga bella

Inga bella is a tree species of the subfamily of the mimosa family ( Mimosoideae ). It is native to Central America.

Description

Inga bella is a tree whose bark and twigs are gray, korkwarzig and bare. The leaves are pinnate dual pairs, the leaflets obovate to lanceolate wrong. The Blattrhachis is 4.5 to 7 inches long, winged along the upper two-thirds with 1 centimeter wide wings. The stipules are continuous and up to 2 inches long.

The inflorescences arise from the leaf axils and the armpits untrained leaves. You are doldenartig, the stem is 0.2 to 2 inches long, the rachis about 3 millimeters. The flowers are greenish- white. The oblong- round, flat fruit have highlighted cross ribs are hairless, originally greenish- white, later dark brown and shiny.

Dissemination

The species is endemic to the Golfo Dulce region of Costa Rica and adjacent areas of Panama.

Inga bella was first described by Mario Sousa in 1993.
