Íñigo Cuesta

Iñigo Cuesta López de Castro ( born June 3, 1969 in Villarcayo, Burgos ) is a retired Spanish road bicycle racer.

1994 Cuesta professional cycling team in the Euskadi - Petronor. He celebrated his biggest success in 1998 with the total victory of the Basque Country tour. Other successes he achieved with stage wins at the Tour of Catalonia and the Dauphiné Libéré. In 2010 he started with the number 1 on his 17th Vuelta a España, which he had to stop only three times prematurely. Here he reached in 2001 with the 13th overall his best result. So Since 1994 he starts every year at his home tour and is the record attendance this Grand Tour.

His last season as a professional cyclist, he played with the Spanish Professional Continental team Caja Rural. His last bike race was in August 2011, the Vuelta a Burgos.
