Innocent Mdledle

Innocent Mdledle ( born December 11, 1985 in Matatiele ) is a South African football player.

Career

Mdledle played in the 2004/05 season at third division People's Bank Spurs with which he achieved promotion to the second-class Mvela Golden League. After the season the left-back joined the traditional first division club Orlando Pirates, in which he was able to prevail in his first professional season. His performance increased in the 2006 /07 and again resulted in the club 's internal player of the season award.

After joining the Pirates Mdledle was regularly used in the U- 23 side in South Africa. In mid-2007 he came during the COSAFA Cups to his first appearances for the South African national team. Although he was thrown back at the Pirates again and again by injuries, appointed national coach Joel Santana reliable and uncompromising defender in the preliminary squad for the Confederations Cup 2009.
