Insight Segmentation and Registration Toolkit

The Insight Segmentation and Registration Toolkit ( ITK ) is an open source C class library for the segmentation and registration of images. ITC was started with money from the National Library of Medicine to create open class libraries and interfaces for the evaluation of the Visible Human Project. Particular attention is therefore paid to the medical aspects of the scientific visualization. Typical applications of ICT are, for example, the processing of medical data from computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging. As a build system CMake is used, which was written specifically for the ITC.
