International Formula Master

The International Formula Master, Formula Super 2000 also was a discharged European junior racing series with single-seater vehicles. The series was created as a rival to Formula 3 in life and was a junior series for the GP2 series. The first race was held in Valencia on 19 May 2007. Past Master in the 2009 season was the Swiss Fabio Leimer. Despite great plans for the future, the series was set before starting the International Formula Master 2010 season.

Formation

The series was founded by N.Technology, a former factory team of Alfa Romeo. The television Euro Sport supported the series. She was discharged in the opening act of the European race of the World Touring Car Championship.

Regulations

In the International Formula Master all the teams took the same car - the Formula 2000 of Tatuus. The chassis and body were made of carbon fiber. The engines were from Honda and possessed at 2000 cm ³ engine capacity of over 250 hp. The brakes were supplied by Brembo and the tires of Yokohama. The electronics came from Magneti Marelli. The safety standards complied with the regulations of the FIA for Formula 3 in 2008.

Each race weekend began on Friday with two 45 - minute practice and a 30-minute qualifying, with the starting grid of the first race is determined.
