Ismaël Bangoura

Ismaël Bangoura (born 2 January 1985 in Conakry ) is a Guinean football player and currently active as a striker in the French Ligue 1 for FC Nantes and in the Guinean national team. He belongs to the ethnic group of the Susu.

Club career

Bangoura played the last youth in Guinea at Athlético Etoile de Coléah. In 2003 he was discovered by the Corsican club Gazelec FCO Ajaccio and moved to France. After two seasons and 15 goals in 44 league operations, he moved to Ligue 1 club Le Mans UC. He debuted in the top French league on 5 November 2005 and is headed in the 3-0 win over Olympique Marseille's a hit on.
