Ismailia Governorate

Al- Isma ʿ iliyya (Arabic محافظة الإسماعيلية Muhafazat al - ʿ Ismā īliyya, DMG Muhafazat al - ʿ Ismā īliyya, also Ismailia ) is a governorate in Egypt with 942 832 inhabitants and is located in the Suez Canal zone.

It is bordered to the north by the province Bur Sa ʿ id, to the east by the province Schimal Sina, on the south by the province as- Suwais and to the west by the provinces of al - Qahira and ash Sharqiyah. The administrative center is Ismailia.
