István Zsemlics

István Zsemlics or Zsemlits (Slovenian: Stevan Žemlič; born July 9, 1840 in Murska Sobota, † November 10, 1891 in degrees ) was a Slovene writer and Roman Catholic priest in Prekmurje.

István Zsemlics is the son of the shoemaker József Zsemlits and Anna Karlovics. He attended primary school in Güns ( Kőszeg ) and the high school in Szombathely ( Szombathely ). On July 20, 1863 he was ordained a priest. On 1 July 1870 he was appointed priest of Unterzemming ( Alsószölnök ). Here he completed his work Návuk od szvétogá potrdjenyá szvesztva ( appear in Graz, 1871).
