İzel Çeliköz

İzel Çeliköz or short İzel ( born April 29, 1969 in Yalova ) is a Turkish pop singer.

İzel Çeliköz studied music at the State Conservatory in Istanbul and graduated on the instrument Kemençe.

She won in 1991 along with Reyhan Karaca and Can Uğurluer the Turkish pre-selection for the Euro Vision Song Contest and was therefore entitled to the Concorso € Visione della canzone 1991 to participate in Rome. With the pop song İki dakika the trio reached the twelfth. In that year, was part of the pop group Çeliköz İzel - Çelik - Ercan, with the release of her first album. 1995 she released her first solo album.
