Jack Bannon

Jack Bannon ( born June 14, 1940 in Los Angeles, California to John Bannon ) is an American actor.

Life

Bannon started his career in the late 1960s. Although he was only very rarely seen in movies, but instead played between the mid- 1960s to mid-1990s, guest-starred in numerous popular TV series such as The Rockford Files - Just call Kojak - Kojak and Charlie's Angels. Familiarity with the U.S. television audience he obtained in 1977 for his role of Art Donovan in the series Lou Grant, which he represented until 1982 in 114 episodes. After the show was canceled, he was beside Lou Ferrigno a starring role in the medical drama Trauma Center, but this was discontinued after 13 episodes. The following year, he had a recurring guest role in the soap opera Knots Landing. He had in 1988 in California Clan Another recurring soap opera - guest role. In the mid- 1990s his television commitments were rare, in consequence, he joined in supporting roles in several B-movies of his brother Joey Travolta on.

Bannon is since 1983 married his second wife, the actress Ellen Travolta and thus brother of John Travolta.
