Jacques Rougeau

Jacques Rougeau ( born June 13, 1960 in Saint- Sulpice, Quebec ) is a Canadian professional wrestler.

Career

Rougeau, whose father and uncle were well-known wrestler in the Montreal area, began his career in 1977. Initially he was quite successful in Tennessee and Alabama, but could with his brother Raymond win title in Montreal in the team. 1985 changed the Fabulous Rougeaus in the WWE and had feuds with the Hart Foundation and the Killer Bees. After the Royal Rumble 1990 Raymond Rougeau ended his active career. Jacques returned, after a short break, as a single wrestler under the name The Mountie back into the ring. In this gimmick, he embodied a malignant Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer who put his opponent with a stun gun out of action.

On January 17, 1992, he could be in this role, after a victory over Bret Hart, secure the WWF Intercontinental Title.
