Ekoi (also Ejagham, ISO 639-3: etu ) is a bantoide language that is spoken by a total of 116,000 people, including 67,300 in Nigeria ( here in the state of Cross River ) and 49,400 in Cameroon ( in the South West region ).

Ekoi has three dialects: Istočni, Zapadni and Juzni. According to her the ekoiden languages ​​are named and it has in this group, most speakers.

Ejagham is part of the African family of languages ​​of the Niger - Congo languages ​​, namely the subgroup of ekoiden languages ​​within the Southern bantoiden languages. The language has a certain resemblance to the Efik and Ibibio languages ​​. Nevertheless, the speaker of the Ejagham English or French use to entertain themselves with these peoples, since these two languages ​​are the only official languages ​​of Cameroon.
