Jagoš Vuković

Jagoš Vukovic ( Serbian Cyrillic Jaгoш Bукoвић, born June 10, 1988 in Dobro Polje Bačko, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Serbian football player who is in the Torku Konyaspor under contract.

Career

The defender started his professional career in his homeland at FK Red Star Belgrade. There, he could not prevail, and then moved to FK Rad Once he was able to establish himself as a regular player at the club he managed with the team promotion to the Super League, the highest Serbian league. He became known to the Dutch club PSV Eindhoven, who first took him in August 2009 for one year on loan under contract.

His first league game in the Eredivisie, he played on 22 November 2009 at the home game against Heracles Almelo. He ran in the 77th minute as a substitute for the defender Erik Pieters on to the field and marked with his goal to make it 4-0 final score ten minutes later the final point in that game. Although Vukovic 2009/10 completed only a few appearances for PSV until the end of the season, he was awarded in April 2010 a new contract until 2013. At the 2011/12 season lent him the League rival Roda JC Kerkrade PSV from. After returning to Eindhoven he belongs to the squad of the second team.

In January 2014 Vukovic joined the Turkish first division club Torku Konyaspor.

National

Vukovic was appointed on May 12, 2010 by coach Radomir Antic in the extended squad of Serbian national football team for participation in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
