Jakub Å indel

Jakub Šindel ( born January 24, 1986 in Jihlava, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech ice hockey player who is under contract with SHC Fassa in the Italian Serie A1 since the summer of 2012. His father Jaromír was also a professional hockey player.

Career

Jakub Šindel began his career as a hockey player in the junior section of the HC Slavia Prague, where he was active until 2003. Towards the end of the 2002/ 03 joined the Center within the highest U20 Junior League Czech Republic for HC Sparta Prague, for the first team he in the 2003/04 season his debut in the Czech Extraliga was. In his rookie year he scored a total of 47 games six goals and two assists. In addition, he came to being as a HC Dukla Jihlava Players out on loan to his hometown in the first second-rate league. The 2004/05 season he began again at HC Sparta Prague in the Extraliga, where he also played as Players out on loan five games for the SK Slavia Horacka Třebíč in the first league. The majority of the playing time he spent with the Brandon Wheat Kings, however, in the Canadian junior Western Hockey League.

For the 2005/06 season Šindel initially returned to HC Sparta Prague, but switched after just twelve games within the league for HC Plzeň 1929, for which he ran aground in the next three years. From 2006 to 2008 he was also responsible for the BK Mladá Boleslav as Players out on loan in the 1st league used. Halfway through the season 2008/ 09 he joined the Pelicans Lahti, for which he in the Finnish SM- liiga in 31 matches 19 points scorer, nine goals scored. The season 2009/10 he spent the Extraliga participants HC Kometa Brno. He was then obliged by Tappara Tampere, for which he took part in the pre-season game at the operation of the European Trophy. The entire 2010/11 season he spent but finally with his former club Pelicans Lahti.

In September 2011 Šindel moved to the Kloten Flyers of the Swiss National League A. For the team, he prepared two goals in five games ago, before he committed in October for the remainder of the 2011/12 season for Dinamo Riga of the Kontinental Hockey League been. For Latvians in 21 games, he scored a goal before he was transferred in December 2011 to Kärpät Oulu of the SM- liiga. After he played nine games for porin Ässät in the spring he joined in summer 2012 for SHC Fassa in the Italian Serie A1.

Internationally

For the Czech Republic Šindel took at junior level at the U18 World Junior Championships in 2003 and 2004 and the U20 World Junior Championships in 2004 and 2006 in part. In the 2004 U18 World Championships he won the bronze medal with his team.
