James K. Morrow

James Morrow ( born March 17, 1947 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American science fiction writer. Morrow is married and has a son. He currently lives in Pennsylvania in District State College.

Morrow is known for his satirical works, refers to both the organized religion as well as humanistic and atheistic viewpoints in question. An example of this is his 1990 published and excellent with the World Fantasy Award novel Only Begotten Daughter (Eng. " The only daughter " ) in which Jesus' half sister, daughter of God, is born into the contemporary American culture.

His most famous work is the Godhead Trilogy is, the first part Towing Jehovah (1994, German " The Gottesmahl " ) also won the World Fantasy Award. Here the two miles long must be recovered floating in the sea corpse of God in the secret order of the Vatican. The following volumes are Blameless in Abaddon (1996) and The Eternal Footman (1999).

Morrow was twice awarded the Nebula Award in 1988 for the short story Bible Stories for Adults, No.. 17: The Deluge, ( German: " Bible Stories for Adults # 17: The Flood ", 1992) and 1991 for the amendment to the City of Truth, ( German: " The City of Truth ", 1993).
