James Situma

James Wakhungu Situma ( born November 11, 1984 in Ndivisi, Bungoma ) is a Kenyan national football team. He is a defender for AFC Leopards in the Kenyan Premier League (KPL ) and the Kenya national team.

Life

James Situma was born on 11 November 1984 as the second of three children in Ndivisi. The first five years he attended the Misikhu RC Primary School, for the remaining three years Ndivisi Primary School. Then Situma went to secondary school Sirakaru Secondary School in Tongaren. In 2003, he completed his education.

Association

In his youth James Situma played only at the local club Ndivisi United and later as a captain at his secondary school. There were friendlies against local KPL clubs Mumias Sugar FC and Nzoia Sugar FC. From the latter club he was taken in 2003 during his final year under contract. After the 2004/ 05 season, Nzoia Sugar broke up and he moved to the World Hope FC, ​​with whom he won the President's Cup in the same year. 2007 signed Situma at Sofapaka in the second division after two weeks and was captain. There he again won the President's Cup and rose again in 2008 to the KPL. In 2009 he was with Sofapaka champion and won in 2010 for the third time the national cup.

Mid-2011, James moved to Situma KF Tirana, was the first Kenyans who played in Albania Kategoria Superiore and won shortly after the Albanian Cup. When he was in November 2011 for a Qualfifikationsspiel at the African Cup in 2012 against Uganda in Kenya, his visa expired. The renewal in a longer visa did not work smoothly; to bridge the time Situma trained at his old club Sofapaka. National

His debut in the national team had Situma was in a friendly against Cameroon, in which he scored the 1-0 from the free kick and replaced in the 57th minute on 9 January 2010. However, Kenya lost the game 1:3.

Situma was part of the team that won the CECAFA Cup 2013.
