Jan Studnicka

Johann " Jan" Studnicka ( born October 12, 1883 in Vienna, † October 18, 1967 ) was one of the most outstanding figures in the history of Austrian football. The striker was first capped player and at the same time, scorer of his country and was awarded posthumously twice honoring the World striker.

Career

Beginning and rise in youth Horst and WAC

Johann Studnicka possessed considerable technical skills, his invention of the Vienna dribbling game is mostly attributed that shaped the future of football sport in Austria. The left connector was small in stature and stocky and received as soon nicknamed " the G'stutze ". Johann Studnicka played actively for the Wiener AC until the season 1919/20, a total he scored 90 goals in 122 missions in the first class.
