Jarchi mosque
The Dschartschi Mosque (Persian مسجد جارچی [ mæsd͡ʒɛd d͡ʒɑɾt͡ʃi ɛ ] ) is a mosque in Isfahan.
It was built under the supervision of the Herald Abbas I in the year 1610 (1019 islam. Calendars), as documented in a thuluth inscription on a spandrel.
Dschartschi ( جارچی ) in Farsi means " herald ". The Dschartschi Mosque is located in the Grand Bazaar of Isfahan and has a Schabestan. The decorations of the mosque are mostly destroyed.
