Jayce Bartok

Life and achievements

As a child, Bartok moved with his family to New York City. He studied at the NYU Film School and made his debut in one piece to an off- Broadway theater. His first movie role, he starred alongside Paul Sorvino in the made-for- television thriller Almost partner from 1987. In the film drama The Fisher King (1991 ), he appeared alongside Jeff Bridges and Robin Williams. In 1993, he starred in the musical drama Swing Kids at the side of Robert Sean Leonard and Christian Bale. Also, in the war drama Andersonville (1996 ), which was nominated for Outstanding Miniseries for an Emmy, he played a bigger role.

In the thriller I Still Know where she is buried (1999), he played one of the four friends who accidentally kill a young woman ( Tara Reid ); were among the other performers Rick Schroder and Jack Noseworthy. In the independent comedy Calling Bobcat ( 2000), he played the lead role. In the comedy The Tollbooth (2004) as well as in the Dramas Red Doors (2005) and Walls ( 2006), he has appeared in major roles. To the film drama The Cake Eaters (2007) by Mary Stuart Masterson wrote the script and played it also one of the main roles.
