Jebel Ali Free Zone

Jebel Ali Free Zone ( JAFZ; Arab المنطقة الحرة في جبل علي al - Mintaqat al - Hurrat fi Jebel Ali, DMG al - Minţaqat al - Ḥurrat fī Ǧabal ʿ Alī ) is the name of a free trade zone in the emirate of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

The JAFZ offers good production and trade opportunities because of low taxes and lucrative business opportunities. The JAFZ is operated by the Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority ( JAFZA ). The JAFZ operated and administered in addition to the artificial major port Jebel Ali also close to downtown Port Rashid (Arabic Mina'a Rashid ), the port of Dubai, which is the 13th - largest container port in the world.
