Jeremy Irons

Jeremy John Irons ( born September 19, 1948 in Cowes, Isle of Wight ) is a British actor, Oscar - and Golden Globe -winner.

Life

Jeremy Irons was born the son of Barbara Anne and Paul Dugan Irons. His mother was a housewife, his father an accountant. His great-grandfather was one of the first officers of the Metropolitan Police Service in London and later a chartist. Irons has an older brother and an older sister.
