The Rondo Generała Jerzego Ziętka is a multi-lane roundabout in Katowice. Here the running in a north-south direction Aleja Wojciecha Karfantego and extending in the east-west direction Droga Krajowa meet 79 that is here part Drogowa Trasa Średnicowa ( Chorzowaska, Aleja Walentego Roździeńskiego ) to each other. It was named after the roundabout Jerzy Ziętek.

History

The roundabout was created as part of the architectural redesign of downtown Katowicer 1965. In the middle of the traffic circle a tram station was set up in the basement stores were created.
