Jiri Bilek (* November 4, 1983 in Prague) is a Czech football player.

Career

Club career

Bilek began playing football at Sparta Prague. At the age of 17 years, the midfielder was loaned to the then second division Spolana Neratovice in order to gain match practice. In two years Bilek game came on 34 missions in which he managed to score a goal.

In the summer of 2003, he changed Bilek, again on loan, the first division Chmel Blšany. There he belonged mostly to the starting lineup and came to the end of 2005 to 66 missions, in which he scored a goal.

In January 2006, Jiri Bilek was obliged Slovan Liberec and was able to celebrate winning the Czech Championship in May 2006. In just three years, he came up with 86 missions and four hits. Beginning of 2009 changed the nephew of Michal Bilek the German second division club 1.FC Kaiserslautern. His debut for the Palatinate, he was, however, only on Matchday 31 against FC Augsburg under interim coach Alois Schwartz. Previously, he had been suspended under Milan Šašić and came only in the second team to use.

During the 2009/10 season he became a regular player and had his share of the rise of FCK in the Bundesliga. Bilek distinguished himself mainly by his fighting spirit and was not least because of a popular player with the fans. In the first half of the 2010/11 season he belonged first to the starting eleven, but had to give its competitors Oliver Kirch or Thanos Petsos in the course of the season so far. Despite variations in shape of his competitors on his position Bilek was no longer used as of April 2011 and finally suggested to him in the winter break of 2011/12 a change of club. In January 2012, Bilek joined Zagłębie Lubin in the Polish Ekstraklasa.

Bilek came so far in the Czech U- 20 and U -21 used.
