Joakim Nilsson (footballer born 1985)

Joakim Nilsson (born 16 May 1985 in Höllviken, community Vellinge ) is a Swedish football player. The defensive player has been running since 2003 in the Swedish professional football.

Career

Nilsson began playing football in his hometown at Höllvikens GIF. The age of eleven he moved to the youth of Malmö FF. Here he fell on those in charge of the Swedish Association and was appointed to various junior national teams.

On April 21, 2003 Nilsson came against Landskrona BoIS to his in Allsvenskan. Due to various injuries at first he could not establish himself in the first team in the following years. It was only in the season of 2006 he succeeded to the side of other young talents like Marcus Pode and Behrang Safari breakthrough at the club and he completed 23 of 26 season games. In the following season he belonged first to the permanent staff, but was from the matchday only substitute. After long-term could not prevail, the club gave him shortly after the beginning of the 2009 to the second division Mjallby AIF. In the Superettan he came to summer in ten games for use and knew in midfield to convince.

In summer 2009, Nilsson then moved again to the club. When Tom Prahl supervised Erstligisten Trelleborg FF, he signed a contract with three and a half years duration. At first team regular, he was in the 2010 only in 14 of his 22 league appearances in the starting XI.
