Joanna Chmielewska

Joanna Chmielewska (actually Irena Kühn, born April 2, 1932 in Warsaw, † October 7, 2013 ibid ) was a Polish writer.

Life

Chmielewska studied in Warsaw in the 1950s architecture and worked in various state architectural firms as a project assistant. She made her debut she published her first novel with short stories for the Polish Culture and Life magazine in 1958. 1964. Since the 1970s, she was one of the most widely read authors in Poland and Russia. She wrote mostly humorous crime novels.
