Joaquín del Cosío

Joaquín de Cosío ( born September 2, 1789 in El Viejo, † unknown) was from July 1839 to October 1839 Director Supremo ( head of state ) of Nicaragua.

He was a member of the Partido Legitimista.

As Chairman of the Parliament he declared on April 7, 1838 León to the meeting of Parliament on 24 April 1838.

The decree of 27 August 1839, he announced that the decision on the venue of the Parliament in accordance with the internal security and tranquility of the state falls within the competence of the Director Supremos.

On 2 September 1939, he evaluated El Viejo, Villa Real de San Fernando de Masaya on Santa Ana de Chinandega from the villa to the city.
